James R. Morris, MD

James R. Morris, MD

A graduate of U.C. Davis School of Medicine, Dr. Morris completed his Family Medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University in 1982 and remains board certified. In 1990, he joined Oregon Pain Center as a fellow in Pain Management. Two years later, Dr. Morris resumed private practice focusing on medical pain management. He is the co-founder and past president of the Pain Society of Oregon. In 2005, he established a multidisciplinary pain management team, comprised of independent medical practitioners at the Willamette Medical Center.


M. Joshua Haber, MD

M. Joshua Haber, MD

Dr. Haber, previously with Pain Consultants of Oregon for eight years until joining Pain Management Partners in the spring of 2017, received his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and completed residency training in Family Medicine through Oregon Health and Science University and advanced fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Medical College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His work in sports medicine led him to focus on helping people in pain regain their ability to be active, and he completed additional fellowship training in interventional pain medicine at Integrated Pain Management in California. When hes not working with patients, Dr. Haber enjoys gardening and bicycling, and along with his wife and son, touring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. 


Carolyn Buel, ANP

Carolyn Buel, ANP

In 1975 Carolyn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Walla Walla College. She worked for 15 years in Long Term Care as a registered nurse promoting standards of care for the elderly. She received her Masters of Nursing at Oregon Health Science University in 2003. Her first job as a Nurse Practitioner was with the Public Employees Benefit Board Health Center in Salem. She joined Pain Management Partners, LLC in 2005. She has specialized training from Stanford University's Master Trainer Course for Chronic disease Self-Management.


Erik Morris, PMHNP

Erik Morris, PMHNP

Erik Morris, MS, PMHNP-BC completed his Master of Science degree from Columbia University School of Nursing with a subspecialty in Addictive Behaviors in 2012. He managed a diverse patient population with mental health needs in an outpatient setting at Gouverneur Health Center in New York City. Erik returned to his hometown of Eugene in January 2014 working at Lane County Behavioral Health for three years. In March, he joined the Center for Family Development full time. He also continues to work part time with Lane County and Pain Management Partners, LLC. He was a licensed massage therapist for seven years prior to pursuing his interest in mental health. Erik is also a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor since 2006. He enjoys hiking, skiing, exploring, writing and cooking.
