Job Postings at Pain Management Partners
Physician Partner
Pain Management Partners, LLC, is seeking a family practice-trained physician or doctor of osteopathy to join its multifaceted pain management team as a physician partner. Pain Management Partners specializes in non-interventional medical treatment of intractable pain, emphasizing comprehensive care with a multidisciplinary perspective that includes physical therapy and behavioral aspects. We offer thorough evaluation, treatment recommendations, coordination of care and alternative approaches. Plans to expand are under way, including increased services such as combined visits with other providers, educational classes, group visits and satellite offices.
An employment arrangement is offered for the first year in this position, with future partnership dependent on mutual agreement.
Pain Management Partners currently has one physician, Dr. James Morris, and two adult nurse practitioners. Sharing the building are Axis Physical Therapy & Rehab, Inc., and two psychologists providing group and individual therapy.
The doctor will provide a complete medical pain management consultation and ongoing medical treatment and pain management. A complete history of the medical problem, physical examination, and a variety of diagnostic services form the backbone of a consultation. Appropriate recommendations to the referring provider and the patient result in new directions and opportunities for management of complex pain problems.
Although pain cure is desirable, pain management is an on-going process that maximizes function, improves comfort, and stabilizes medical care for the chronic pain sufferer. Regular office visits are necessary to provide continuity of care.
